It was always a special time in Buckholts when Frankie was home on leave. Lots of activities. I remember he was fond of jokes. I remember one he told which goes something like this: "Some people pronounce the capital of California as Los Angle-eese and some say Las Angel-is. How do you say the capital of California?" My response was Sacramento, which ruined the joke but made it that much funnier.
