Nanette Gail Jamison, born November 8, 1951 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Jack and Mildred Jamison, died on July 15, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Throughout her life, Nanette was a published author, butterfly sanctuary ambassador, expert snow tuber, sushi connoisseur, costume designer, accomplished golf and volleyball coach, premier equestrian, archaeologist, and talented artist.
Nanette had a brilliant mind, loved to laugh and never knew a stranger. To her family and friends, she was better known as a loving mother, doting grandmother, and everyday adventurer who loved her family and friends fiercely and selflessly.
Nanette was preceded in death by her father, Jack J. Jamison, and mother, Mildred Jamison.
Survivors include her daughter Cyra Crouch and husband, Randy Crouch; daughter, Shana Gordy; grandchildren, Bryant Gordy, Kallie Gordy, Ryan Crouch, and Camila Crouch; and step-father to her daughters, Lonny Creasey.
Friends are invited to a visitation, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday July 27, 2022 at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Drive. The Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 1525, Ranson, WV 25438, or Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
