Dear Aunt Lupe,
What a wonderful blessing you have been to our family! All the special memories of not just having Bama Jelly but any flavor you wanted! You taking care of all 4 of us must have been a challenge but what wonderful memories to have! Spending the night at your house and playing four-hour monopoly games and watching Saturday Night Live until midnight, you made us feel like we were big teenagers when actually were just little kids! Lol! As I look back now I can't thank you enough for being such a sweet kind aunt! It was an honor to be able to help do the handyman work at your house and spending time with you. It made me feel good to give back to you for all the love you gave to me and to us. I know this is not a goodbye but a see you later. Rest in paradise until we meet again. You may have called me your hero but truth be told you were my hero! I love you with all my heart Aunt Lupe!
Love,
Ronnie

We are so Blessed to have had you all our lives!! From going thru your Avon stash, the soap on a rope, Timeless perfume to your favorite perfume, White Shoulders. Laying on the floor laughing and watching Carol Burnett and running thru the beaded doorway to shopping at Weiner's, Piggly Wiggly, Long John Silvers and Whataburger. The smell of "burnt tortillas" when we were getting closer to your house. Going to your friends house when I wore that hideous black floral skirt with a petticoat and yellow shirt holding my bear and those blue and tan suede shoes!! lol!! How you would laugh at me sitting at the table with "bear" and feeding "her" first. Arguing who gets to sit in the front seat of your Blue Chevelle w/white interior and that hot plastic protector that made our legs and back sweat! To getting sno-cones and putting pennies on the RR track. Thank you for loving all of us as your own and for always thinking of us and sending cards and gifts!!
Every time I hear Freddy Fender I think of you. Wasted Days and Wasted Nights... still one of my favorites!! You definitely didn't waste any days or nights. I'm happy you were able to spend so much time with your sisters and brothers!! RIP Aunt Rupe.....LOVE you always!!
