Obituary of Lupe Garcia

Lupe Garcia, born August 11, 1933 in Runge, Texas to Francisco and Anastacia Garcia, died on August 21, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

Lupe graduated from Sugar Land High School in 1951 and worked for Bama Food Company for 19 years.  She then worked for Riverside Printing until her retirement. 

Lupe was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Anastacia; brothers, Domingo, Manuel, and Frank.

She is survived by her brothers, Antonio and Jesse Garcia; and sisters, Frances, Rosie, and BeBe; nieces, Jamie Kruse and Irene Minor; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.  A special thanks goes to her nephew Ron Alaniz for always helping with repairs on her house.  We’d like to lastly thank Jennafer our hospice nurse and Chaplain Tony for their kind and loving care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2022 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Blvd. in Sugar Land, Texas.

Interment will follow at a later date at San Isidro Cemetery in Sugar Land, Texas.
