Greg, I know you are resting in paradise. You were always an inspiration to me and I admired your great sense of humor and your willingness to help others when they needed it. You and your Miss Eppy will always hold a special place in my heart. God bless you and please watch over Eppy. We love you and already miss you. See you on the other side and remember the gold monkeys.

Over the years, our family has grown and spread out across Texas, the US, and even to other continents but we are so grateful that one of the last times we were together in Houston we were able to have a Thanksgiving with Uncle Greg & Aunt Eppy. It had been a while since the extended family had a chance to get together but you would hardly be able to tell with all the laughter and love at the table. Uncle Greg was definitely a driving force in keeping the laughs coming, a born storyteller he could keep anyone entertained for hours with his quick wit and one-liners. Certainly, more than one person left that day with a new joke at the ready courtesy of Uncle Greg. It was at this Thanksgiving that Aaron was able to introduce Uncle Greg to his new wife Lucy, who was thrown into the deep end spending the whole day with the family, but the way Uncle Greg included everyone without a doubt made her feel welcome. In the coming years Uncle Gregs’ absence will be felt but keeping these treasured memories, and a few of his choice stories, alive we can always hold him in our hearts. We will miss you dearly, all our love: Joe, Ginny, Jessica, Aaron. Lucy & Gio
