Pat was my grandma and I wish so sincerely that I could join you all for the service, but I am with you in spirit and watching online from New York.
My sister and I spent so many nights at her house as kids. Her and Brudad were even so bold to let me, Linden, Drew, and Jack all visit together and I forever thank them for their patience on those trips because we were little psychos. Pat was smart and kind. My favorite times with her were spent touring around the back yard as she'd tell me all about the different plants, which always seemed to change.
She also introduced us to lit'l smokies sausages in a crock pot and they absolutely blew my mind as a kid. It's funny how the silliest memories are sometimes the most enduring.
